April 5: Riddarholmskyrkan morning
I got up early so that I could go back to Riddarholmskyrkan and see it in the daylight.
The atrium of the hotel, from breakfast (which was an excellent spread).
Back at this building from before on Drottninggatan.
How did they even do that.
Looking across toward Riddarholmskyrkan, with Riddarhuset in front of it.
The Riksdag gates.
A baroque cloud morning matching the barocity of the architecture. That's Kungliga Slottet below. The clouds portended sprinkles.
Here it is. It has an eclectic collection of chapels.
The tower from the front.
Zoom of the spire. SO COOL.
A pidge admiring the craftsmanship.
An ascendance of cupolas.
Gated, covered way down to the water.
The same niche as photographed the night before, maybe.
A less foreshortened view of the spire.
Zoom with bells.
All the way through one of the chapels.
The outsize tower of Klara Kyrkan.
A bridge. Branching out from another bridge. It doesn't get any better than this.
Touchdown back in Norrmalm.
