The church got even cooler the more we explored.

This is like when you're looking close up at something and then suddenly you notice someone who's been staring at you the whole time right in front of you, except the person is the bell tower roof.

We got up into the bell tower via very steep stairs.
Seriously cool structure. I wonder about the writing on the right; I don't remember noticing that before.
There were a lot of pinhole-sized gaps between the wall boards up in the tower, many with sun shining through.
