May 13: white night
Some evening/post-evening shots. The white night was well-established at this point. Sometime I want to get back to Finland for midsummer to see what the light is like then.
At an end-of-semester party at Jouni's place in Eira: Mikael Agricolan kirkko, plus some colors.
Twilight arches.
Really nicely composed tower and spire, very chic, very Stockholm.
A wall with a roof.
On the way home (I walked all the way): the Russian Embassy (I think), plus some 11PM twilight.
Orange along Tehtaankatu.
The cathedral with a little bit of twilight.
More twilight.
The Pohjoisranta view.
Twilight masts.
Hanasaari with all its weird lights, and a little bit of twilight.
Hey whoa it's like getting brighter!
Katajanokka shore.
A little bit of the Kallio church, and twilight. I think this is around midnight.
A look out to the east from Kasino.
Mailboxes for the big icebreaker ships docked there throughout the non-ice season. (If you look at Katajanokka on Google Earth you'll find the icebreakers modeled in their docked positions.)
The post is warning of/filling in that hole in the path.
